The popular season of free summer concerts is back for 2022, and this year GRASS Cliftonville CIC are bringing more performances across a wider variety of genres to The Oval Bandstand & Lawns.

“Sold on Soul” (aka SOS) are a lively and popular function band. We will get you up on your feet and dancing the night away with your friends and family.

As a 7-piece function band, we are dedicated to giving you an experience of diverse music; from the Motown / Stax Soul classics of the 60s (Sam Cooke, Martha Reeves, Stevie Wonder) to the awesome Disco and Funk (Chic, The Jacksons, Rose Royce) era of the 70s. Of course, we do put our own spin on the tunes and include some present-day songs within the set.

We believe that music sets memories and takes you back to those precious moments that you hold so dear. With that in mind we make it our mission to give you and your guests the best musical experience we can offer.

Oval Summer Sundays concerts are free-of-charge and take place between 2pm and 4pm most weekends throughout the summer season (subject to weather conditions).

Bandstand concerts are back for a glorious summer of entertainment!

• FREE ENTRY (limited capacity)
• Doors/Bar open: 1pm – 5pm
• Concert: 2pm – 4pm
• Light refreshments and a licensed bar are available
• Alcohol is not to be brought into venue as there is a licensed bar on-site
• Fully accessible toilet facilities are available
• Wheelchair accessible
• Please use public transport, bicycles, or arrive on foot. There is very limited local car parking and charges may apply.
• Well behaved dogs are welcome in the bandstand auditorium, but they MUST be kept on a lead at all times.
• All children must be accompanied by an adult.
