Oval Outdoor Theatre

Sense and Sensibility – 25th August 2023

Welcome to 1810 as Chapterhouse Theatre Company invites you to take a step back in time, and lose yourself in this magical story of romance, recklessness and restraint. Sense & Sensibility follows the trials and triumphs of Elinor and Marianne Dashwood as they make their first tentative forays into Regency Society – a world where the parties are tremendous, emotions always run high, and every woman is on the lookout for a husband!

We endeavour to stage live performances at the Oval Outdoor Theatre, including plays, musicals, opera, music and children’s events. Why not visit to experience a show at the theatre under the stars and become a part of The Oval Bandstand’s extraordinary story?
