| Our parks, beaches and streets are being blighted by dog fouling, and the lack of enforcement is leaving us with unhygienic public spaces. That’s why we’ve launched a petition calling on Thanet District Council to take immediate, effective steps to: • begin issuing Fixed Penalty Notices for dog fouling under the existing PSPO; • work with local accredited community groups to help enforce the rules through the CSAS scheme; • publish within six months a clear action-plan with targets for patrols, fines and annual progress reporting.
