Oval Summer Sundays: Taking Care of Vegas

The popular summer season of free concerts continues, and this year GRASS Cliftonville CIC are bringing more performances across a wider variety of genres to The Oval Bandstand & Lawns.

Taking Care of Vegas are Kent’s favourite Elvis party show band, with their blend of rock ‘n’ roll hits for all the family and big band Vegas show sound.

People come out to be entertained and that’s exactly what this band deliver, filling the whole venue with sound that makes the audience bring their own energy and enjoyment into the mix.

​Known for their on stage antics and authentic 70’s vibe, the band provide fun dance routines and encourage audience participation; one of the many reasons they have been main stage regulars at big summer events for several years.

Taking Care of Vegas hope that everyone who comes to see them will experience the magic that Elvis created during his live performances. They take a wonderful set of songs that really transcended all music styles from gospel to blues, rock to country, and recreate them with their own twist for today’s fun loving audience.

Oval Summer Sundays concerts are free-of-charge and take place between 2pm and 4pm most weekends throughout the summer season (subject to weather conditions).

Bandstand concerts are back for a glorious summer of entertainment!

• FREE ENTRY (limited capacity)
• Doors/Bar open: 1pm – 5pm
• Concert: 2pm – 4pm
• Light refreshments and a licensed bar are available
• Alcohol is not to be brought into venue as there is a licensed bar on-site
• Fully accessible toilet facilities are available
• Wheelchair accessible
• Please use public transport, bicycles, or arrive on foot. There is very limited local car parking and charges may apply.
• Well behaved dogs are welcome in the bandstand auditorium, but they MUST be kept on a lead at all times.
• All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
