Mamma Mia – Cliftonville Outdoor Cinema

At the Cliftonville Outdoor Cinema we bring the community together to laugh, cry, eat popcorn, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of an outdoor movie experience! at The Oval Bandstand & Lawns.

Donna (Meryl Streep), an independent hotelier in the Greek islands, is preparing for her daughter’s wedding with the help of two old friends. Meanwhile Sophie, the spirited bride, has a plan. She secretly invites three men from her mother’s past in hope of meeting her real father and having him escort her down the aisle on her big day.

PROGRAMME

• 9:10pm – Film starts (sunset 9:08pm)
• 11:00 – Film ends

FOOD + DRINK

The Oval Bar will be onsite serving a wide selection of drinks including beer, prosecco, wines, spirits, cocktails, and soft drinks. Hot drinks, cold drinks, popcorn and cinema treats will be available at The Oval Kiosk and Bar. We accept card payments, which is our preferred method of payment.

DECKCHAIRS and Samsonite seating

Deckchair seating is for those that have booked a deckchair ticket.

TICKETS

Tickets are issued by e-tickets. Tickets are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable. If it rains the cinema will go ahead and remember you will not get a refund. Do not offer the tickets for sale or free on social media platforms, if this happens your tickets will be cancelled. If you can’t make it please cancel your tickets on Eventbrite as this will allow people that have signed up to the waitlist to attend the screening.

FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT WE ASK YOU TO PLEASE FOLLOW THE EVENT RULES:

• Strictly NO alcohol to be brought in to the outdoor cinema. A licensed bar is available on-site.
• No food or drink are to be brought into event.
• No dogs or pets (except registered guide/assistance dogs).
• Please note that all under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.
• We are unable to accommodate infants and babies at the showing.
• Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable and that the person named on the ticket must be in attendance and you may be asked for ID.
• In the event of bad weather the event will may be cancelled all tickets are non-refundable- please check the forecast and come prepared.
• Please note that it can turn chilly in the evenings, so please make sure you bring suitable clothing and it may rain so come prepared.
• If you wish to smoke, including e cigarettes, you need to leave the arena, you will be readmitted afterwards, and please be courteous of other audience members.
• Please place all rubbish into the bins provided or take it away home with you.
• Any drinks purchased at the bar / onsite must be consumed within the event site.
• Please take note of the film certification when purchasing tickets. The film certification is strictly enforced at Ticket Check. ID will be required for those patrons who look under the age of the film certification.

• The Bar operates a Challenge 25 Policy. If you look under 25 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you purchase alcohol. Please bring proof of ID to show you are over 18. Please don’t be offended if you are asked for ID.
• Please note GRASS Cliftonville CIC can not be held liable or responsible for any damage to vehicles or personnel possessions whilst attending any of our events.

• Although all our site is lit, it is recommended that you bring a torch to provide localised lighting.
• No naked flames, BBQ’s, gas stoves or candles.
• No tents, gazebos, parasols or pop-up structures.
• Glass is not permitted onsite – please ensure all drinks are in plastic/cans and consumed from plastic drinkware.
• Please follow steward instructions, and abide by the designated seating areas.

In the venue a central pathway is created within the arena, please leave this clear to enable other audience members to move around within the arena.

First aid staff are present at all events. If you become unwell at one of our events please contact your nearest Steward.

Please note failure to comply with any site rules could result in refused entry or immediate removal from the event.

As a condition of attending and purchasing tickets for the event, participants agree the following waiver:

I acknowledge and agree that I participate in the Cliftonville Outdoor Cinema at my own risk. I release and indemnify GRASS Cliftonville CIC, organisations or corporations associated directly or indirectly with the conduct of the event, from and against all claims, liabilities, injury, loss or damage I may suffer or incur arising from or connected with my participation in this event.

I grant full permission for the organisers and media to use photographs, film or video footage of me participating in GRASS Cliftonville CIC event and surrounding activities, promotion of this or similar events in the future or in relation to relevant fundraising activities.

Purchase Policy

All sales are final. All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you do not receive your tickets 72 hours before an event, it is your responsibility to contact GRASS Cliftonville CIC with regards to this. It is your responsibility to inform us of any change of details including address and email address.
