Biography

Michelle brings 34 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, having taught a diverse range of classes and disciplines, from exercise to music, aqua, step, personal fitness training, and more. Her expertise has spanned various settings, including council-run gyms in Kent and London, as well as prestigious locations such as palaces in Saudi Arabia. Michelle has worked with individuals of all ages, from 4 to 104 years old, including princesses, sheikhs’ wives, celebrities, and their families. In addition to her fitness background, Michelle is trained in yoga, meditation, Silent Massage, Reiki, and embodiment coaching.

Discovering Groove in 2018, Michelle immediately connected with its philosophy and approach. Without any local classes available at the time, she underwent training and began teaching Groove in various settings across Kent and London, including community centers, town halls, art galleries, parks, schools, dance studios, yoga studios, and even Margate caves and beaches. Her dedication to spreading Groove’s message led her to teach at luxury Champneys spas in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, traveling across the UK.

Michelle is passionate about the holistic benefits of Groove, which include physical strength, flexibility, agility, balance, and power. Moreover, Groove supports individuals psychologically by aiding in resilience-building and reducing anxiety through working with the parasympathetic nervous system. It also facilitates emotional processing and spiritual connection, providing a transformative and magical experience.

Through Groove classes, Michelle fosters a sense of community where participants not only connect with each other and the music but, more importantly, with themselves on a deeper level. While having fun in their bodies, participants naturally tap into their inner selves and experience profound connections.
