The Oval Pavilion Survey

Artist’s impression of what the pavilion might look like (from the MTD funding bid).

As one of the Margate Town Deal’s (MTD) Coastal Wellbeing projects in Cliftonville, it is proposed that a new community facility will be built to replace the toilet block at The Oval Bandstand & Lawns. The structure will be a single storey pavilion and will include a café, community room/s and public toilets. GRASS Cliftonville CIC now seeks to further engage with local people to help develop this exciting community project.

The Oval Pavilion will be for the benefit of the whole community and the guiding principle is to create a modern, eco-friendly, sustainable, all-year-round facility that is an inclusive and safe environment for all to enjoy, as well as offer training and long-term employment opportunities.

The purpose of this survey is to help us further identify the needs of our community and ensure they feed into into the development of the new facility. We are about to start the design process so we are seeking the views of residents in relation to key issues, concerns, and priorities, as this will help shape the brief and set a firm direction for the project architect.

All Surveys which are completed and submitted to us by 31st May will be entered into a prize-draw to win VIP tickets to a Cliftonville Outdoor Cinema screening of your choice this summer.

We value your opinions and thank you in advance for completing this questionnaire (it should take around 5 minutes).
