The Oval Bandstand & Lawns

The Oval Bandstand & Lawns has always been an important part of Margate’s cultural landscape.

This coming year, despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, The Oval Bandstand and Lawns will host music & theatre performances, community events, outdoor cinemas, and hope to welcome thousands of visitors through our gates.

• The Oval Bandstand is a large capacity outdoor amphitheatre in Cliftonville and is open throughout the year.
• The Oval Lawns comprises over 4 acres of public amenity space.
• The Oval Bandstand has an artistic policy of open access and will host a huge range of events including Cinema, Theatre, Music, Comedy, Circus, Wrestling and other Special Events.
