Join us for the grand opening of Cliftonville’s brand new Saturday market at The Oval Bandstand & Lawns – a vibrant weekly event set on the stunning clifftops of Walpole Bay.

Following the closure of the much-loved Manston Market, GRASS Cliftonville CIC and StevensMarkets Ltd have teamed up to give the market a new home – and you’re invited to celebrate its exciting new chapter!

Expect over 50 stalls featuring:

• Fresh local produce
• Handmade gifts and homewares
• Street food and hot drinks
• Clothes, records, jewellery, and much more!

To celebrate opening day, we’ll have free face painting and balloon modelling for the kids, plus a £100 market voucher giveaway – just turn up, enter the draw, and you could win!

The Oval is a beautiful and accessible venue with footpaths, toilets, a community café, and plenty of space to relax and explore.

Just 10 minutes from the old Manston site, and well served by local buses (The Loop and 8A) with loads of nearby parking at The Lido, Harold Road, and Trinity Square car parks. Please avoid parking on residential streets.

Sustainability matters: This is a “leave no trace” market. Traders are committed to keeping the space clean, green, and community-friendly.
