Bandstand Busking

Bandstand Busking is a showcase for local musicians who wish to play at the iconic Oval Bandstand in Cliftonville. These occasional sessions usually take place on Saturday’s from 12noon to 3pm, and each act can perform for around 45-50 minutes by completing the application form below.

Set-up/sound-check/close-down time is around 10-15 minutes for each act so the busking sessions are currently only open to solo or duo performers.

The Oval’s own sound-system will be set-up for the performer’s to use, so it should simply be a case of plug-in-and-play.

Each act will receive 100% of the tips from their own busking performance during their allocated one hour time-slot. The Oval’s staff will be proactive in collecting tips from the audience (as long the performer is happy for us to do so).

The Oval Bandstand will confirm via email those acts who have been selected to perform.
